CourseCo Jr. Golf League Information

Deep Cliff Golf Team - CourseCo. Swing 2010

We are very happy to announce the 2010 CourseCo. Swing Junior Golf League.  This league is open to boys and girls who are 17 years old or younger.  The Deep Cliff Junior Golf Team will be limited to 12 players.  Tryouts will be conducted to determine the team makeup.  Teams will play nine-hole stroke play matches, taking the top six scores of the eight competing players.  This is a competitive golf league; all players are expected to have extensive on course experience.  All players who make the Team are required to be members of the NCGA’s Youth on Course Program.

Rules: The USGA and course local rules will govern all play.  There is to be no gallery for these competitions.  Home teams may play as many players as they would like.  Away teams can only travel with eight players.  Dress code will be strictly enforced and all players must have their shirts tucked in at all times.  If players do not understand a rule or have a question regarding a rule they are asked to play a second ball.  The host PGA Professional will have the final say in all rulings.

  If you are interested in being a part of this exciting opportunity to play competitive golf we will be having a team meeting on April 17th at 4:00 pm at the Deep Cliff driving range.  This is a great opportunity for parents to ask questions and for players to meet the Coach.  Following the meeting all players will play 9 holes at Deep Cliff as the first round of tryouts. 

Tryout Dates:

• April 17th at 4:30pm at Deep Cliff Golf Course
•  April 23rd at 4:30pm at Los Lagos Golf Course
•  May 2nd    at  4:30pm at Deep Cliff Golf Course

Team Information

• Team Fee: $250.00 per player.  This includes all green fees, range balls, a team shirt and hat. 
• Team Schedule: All matches start at 3:30 pm.  Dates and locations for matches are to be determined.  A full schedule will be provided at the first team meeting.
